Wedding Celebration!

Last weekend my family and friends came to Charleston for Sally Gray Strang's wedding and it was amazing! I had so much fun getting to be with all my family and friends from Chattanooga in Charleston! The wedding and reception were at Drayton Hall Plantation - it was such a gorgeous setting. And although it was a typical muggy lowcountry evening, we still had a great time!

Spent a few days at St. Augustine beach with some of the family...I have the cutest cousins ever!

I took Izzie to Folly Beach and after some initial hesitation she had a blast chasing (and running from) the waves!

Blue Skies

How great is it to be able to go to the beach on your days off from work?! The beauty of the ocean and the sunny skies can almost make up for the lack of mountains!

And so it begins...

I just wanted to create this as something fun to do, and so my friends and family can see what I am up to in the Lowcountry! Knowing me I will probably slack off and not post anything for spans of time but I won't forget forever!
Right now I am still settling into my new home and getting things set up. It is beautiful and I am so blessed to have it!
I am also working a lot right now as our unit is full - a little extra money can't hurt! Next week I am driving down to Jacksonville to see my family! I can't wait, it has been way too long! So that is my somewhat boring life for now - more to come as summer is always full of adventure!
